She is currently working on three contiguous bodies of work: Targets (because we all aim), Black and White (polarity/duality), and The Net of Indra made from fabic covered rubber snakes and plastic jewels, based on the Indian myth of a jeweled net that connects the world.

“An Alphabet of Weapons”, a seven year project which considers the psychological weapons that we use against ourselves or others, was exhibited in 2016 at Depot Six in West Stockbridge, MA. and again in 2017 at the Cambridge School of Weston, Weston, MA. She received a fellowship from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in 2016 where she began her large piece Curtain Call which was then exhibited at the Foundation Gallery at Columbia Green Community College in Hudson, NY : “Two Women Four Hands”, 2017.

In the spring of 2005 Cynthia traveled to Brittany, France, for a Klot’s Residency, thorough MICA. The architecture and gardens there confirmed her continued involvement with “the fantastic”, a surrealist way of looking at the world ; one of the roots of her studio practice. In June 2013, Cynthia was an artist/curator/performer in Rites of Passage, a production by - In September of 2012 she was an artist in Residence with Beck Balken at IS 183 Art School in the Berkshires, where they produced the exhibition "With A Grain of Salt".
